Could you do me as a Jedi? I loved your idea and art so much I would like you to draw me as a Jedi, and if you want I can draw something for you and post it up here. I like green cause it's the color of nature and is cool. What's your favorite color? Here is the link to one of my pictures of me. [link] So what do you say? If you don't want to it's fine with me, I'm not making you so you can turn it down if you want to and I will understand, though I do hope you accept but don't want you to feel obligated to.
and Id like an orange one... you gotta wonder why they never had em in the movies! Itd have rocked sox hardcore, and by ep 3 I was getin pretty tired of green blue and red, seriously. Yellow? Orange? anyone? -crash
tango'ed? hehehehe err, ish funny but whaddya mean by tangoed? you mean, like, mangoed? [swishes his orange sabre] cuz mangoed is just as weird... grin This totally made my night with it just being surreal and oddball funny.
err... Explain yourself, jedi! ANd defend yourself!! -crash
Im sorry Master, it appears that it is a totally British expression! It comes from their televised adverts for a curious liquid drink called 'Tango' in which something strange and orange happens to an unsurspecting person and ends on the catchphrase 'you know when you've been Tango'ed!' I was unaware that this did not exist in other parts of the galaxy.
however, i do really like the idea of 'mangoed' as an expression!
I dont know how others do thier lightsabres but this is how i do mine I draw and ink the picture without the blade in, just doing the handle. Then on another layer use the line tool to put in a thin line where the blade is so i can get the colouring right. I delete this layer when im done
on the next layer i use a airbrush larger than the handle on low opacity with the darkest colour. I gradualy make the brush smaller with lighter colours until i get to the narrow white in the middle.
The whitest part near the handle is the brighest and widest while the end of the blade has less fuzzy outline and more shape so i sharpen the end up by useing a low opacity eraser to shave off some of the glow edges.
hope that helps
