Yay! The second jointed anthro plushie. This time of my fav character Dragon (the anthro version is a bird lion thing)

Main improvements from the first one were to the shape and length of the body, arms and legs. Also a couple of tweaks, the head was a little reduced in size, the inner mouth improved and the feet made larger. The changes put him at 2 foot high, which was what I was going for, so he's a little bit bigger than Morgan. [link]
He has similar features, jointed at neck, shoulders and hips. has an opening mouth with a tongue and has a light wire armature in arms, legs and wings. The armature just adds a little strength to it, it's not really for posing, Glass eyes, ultra suede paw pads, the wings are felt with nylon cord between the layers to make the quills.
The black fur is the same as the Morgan plushie and those marking took aaaaaages to sew on, though you can't see them too well in the photos. The white body fur is amazing! It may not look much but it so so so so sooo soft!!!!! It's was insanely expensive but when I got it I was so thrilled. I wanted to bury my face in it (and did) and spent some time doing happy cat feet while making excited little noises. Yeah yeah, i'm that sad, I get far too excited about nice fur fabrics...
His black choker has a buckle at the back so is removable. Also my best guy friend has really gotten into craving recently so I've commissioned him to make me a little flying V guitar that I can paint up for this plusihe ^^ Though my friend, being insane, wants to make one that plays too XD
Material costs I think were around £40+ due the the size, the extra expensive fur and the fact the wings needed a lot of felt to make them.
It's fun to pose him. And there's me hugging him, much to his apparent disgust, showing the size in comparison! I'm really pleased I managed to make him look like he's glaring, though it was disconcerting having him giving me 'i'm going to kill you!' looks across the room.
Now that i'm happy the the pattern and how to make them I'll be setting up an auction for a furbuy/bid commission once i've finished up some freelance stuff. I'll put up an announcement in a journal when it happens
